How does laser hair removal works?
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that uses a powerful light-based machine to remove any unwanted hair of your body and face. It works by the process called selective photothermolysis. This is when the laser beam is attracted to the melanin contained within the hair shaft, leaving the surrounding tissue or organs unaffected. The energy from the laser light beam is converted into heat and travels through the hair shaft and into the hair bulb where heat destroys and kills it. The regrowth of hair will be slower and finer as soon as after the first session.

What areas are safe to treat?
Every body area that presents unwanted hair can be treated safely. First step is the most important one - an initial consultation and patch test which is necessary to check your skin's reaction to the laser. We also take a thorough medical history as we need to know if there are any medical reasons that you would not be suitable for light-based treatments. What skin types do we treat?
Any! With Two "gold standard" wavelengths in one laser device, allowing us to treat any type and skin color safely! Alexandrite (755nm) is the strongest and most effective wavelength for lighter skin tones. Nd:YAG (1064nm) is the deepest and strongest laser wavelength for skin of color. Laser by Cynosure is not an IPL or Diode, and it is proven to deliver much more precise, effective and most importantly longer lasting results.
How many sessions will you need?
Due to testosterone, men tend to have thicker and denser hairs than women do, and may need more treatments. We do recommend to have laser hair removal packages, between 8 - 12 sessions on each body area. Regular treatments are scheduled anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks, to allow time for hairs to regrow in their cycle, and every body or face area will have its own hair growing cycle. Remember, that some maintenance sessions may be needed even after the completion of the course. It really can be different to everyone. Your commitment, determination and followed advice from a laser technician will be primarily responsible for the optimal results!
